About the event
Working on your final project and surrounded by references, materials, ideas, and open questions, but still searching for a clear conceptual direction?
This lecture introduces rhizomatic mapping as a creative, non-linear research methodology for industrial design students. The method supports organizing complexity, synchronizing diverse materials, and generating meaningful conceptual connections across research and design thinking.
Through examples of rhizomatic maps from industrial design projects, participants will learn how a research map can function as an active thinking space – revealing patterns, surfacing emerging themes, and opening pathways toward concept development.
