Beit Hayotzer: Israeli design in five languages tells the story of the rise and fall of the Israeli ceramics industry through the Beit Hayotzer factory (1963 - 1984).

The book results from extensive research that included interviews with dozens of factory workers, extensive archival work and documentation of hundreds of spectacular ceramic works through the vessels, sculptures and tiles.

Through vessels, sculptures, and tiles, readers witness the crossroads of culture, politics and economics that shaped Israeli design.

Dr. Ravid Rovner is a design historian and the granddaughter of Uri Rovner, one of the factory's founders.

The book is written in Hebrew.
